Laura Dunn is ETC Group’s Digital Content and Narrative Lead, and is based in Tiohtiá:ke, Montreal, Quebec, Canada. She has worked for and in solidarity with Indigenous organizations as a communicator since 2011. 


Laura has developed content strategies, campaigns, videos, articles, reports and infographics for the McConnell Foundation, Inuit Tapiriit Kanatami and Pitquhirniqut Ilihautiniq (Kitikmeot Heritage Society). She is a community organizer with the Courage Coalition, working on people driven anti-racist electoral campaigns that put people and the planet ahead of profits. She completed a Master’s degree in Art History and Communication Studies at McGill University with the Graduate Option in Gender and Women’s Studies, where she  focused on the resurgence of food sharing and Inuit economic logics on social media groups in the face of extractive colonial capitalism. She is a member of the Grierson Research Group, which focuses on infrastructure, media, energy and environments.
