However, once we look behind the headline-grabbing claims, it becomes clear that the use of this technology could put food systems and humanity at serious risk of irreversible harm.

DAVAO, MONTREAL Y CIUDAD DE MÉXICO, 29 de Agosto. — Un informe de la Agencia France Presse (AFP) reveló un nuevo intento por establecer la base para un mercado de “créditos climáticos” para usar técnicas de geoingeniería. Grupos de la sociedad civil están denunciando las negociaciones a puerta cerrada de la Organización Internacional de Normalización (ISO por sus siglas en inglés), que podrían debilitar los esfuerzos para frenar el cambio climático.
